“Shannon Ghere ’10 received her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison with majors in Political Science and International Studies. After graduation, Ms. Ghere traveled and learned Spanish, which led to her current role as the Individual Giving Manager for the Instituto del Progreso Latino in Chicago. In this video, she shares information about her day-to-day work with Instituto del Progreso Latino, what it means to be employed in the non-profit industry, and why cross-cultural experiences matter in professional success.
