The Wisconsin Assembly Democrats are beginning to collect applications for Spring semester internships in legislative offices at the Wisconsin State Capitol. These internships are unpaid but provide valuable work experience in communications, research, and politics. Our caucus makes a conscious attempt to enrich our interns, which includes serious networking opportunities to develop connections in the intern’s fields of interest, observing official capitol business, and much more.
The majority of the work done by interns lies in three categories: press, constituency work, and legislative research. This job requires an attention to detail and aptitude for researching from a large breadth of sources.
